Italy Part II: Florence and Siena

The two places where we did the most walking!! Both Florence and Siena were charming little towns that had a rustic feel, so despite the walking I loved it all the same. Plus there was good weather so we didn’t have to walk in the rain like we did on the first day :)

Leather market – didn’t buy anything cos everything was so expensive and I absolutely hate the smell of leather, even though there were so many pretty bags *_* & a lucky boar – Dad touching its snout because it’s supposed to bring you good luck (lol what’s with this touching for luck thing in Italy)

Apparently the town has a horse race every year (Palio di Siena) and THAT’s the amount of people that gather in the square. Yep all the little dots are actually heads. And they gather in summer omg cannot imagine the heat.. & the winners of the race have to pay money to all the losers!! How interesting hahaha

Climbed an endless amount of steep hills….. The aunties in my tour group were all going strong hahaa (Y)
